Honor has launched a new budget smartphone, the Honor Play 10, aimed at entry-level buyers.
The device features a 6.74-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 processor with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. The phone operates on Android Go edition.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the Play 10, supporting 10W charging via USB Type-C 2.0. The phone weighs 189 grams, measures 8.55mm thick, and carries an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 5, and dual SIM support.
For cameras, the Play 10 offers a 13MP rear lens and a 5MP front lens for selfies.
Color options are Midnight Black, Starry Purple, and Ocean Cyan. Pricing has not yet been announced.
In a related update, Honor’s upcoming Magic 8 Pro flagship is rumored to debut as the only Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone with 3D Face ID.
