Google has recently released the stable version of Android 14 beta 4.1, which is currently available for Pixel devices. However, Galaxy S23 series users can expect Samsung’s take on the OS soon.
According to a slip-up from a German Samsung customer support representative, the highly anticipated One UI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series will start on August 2, followed by a beta program for the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 on August 9.
The Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 are being considered for the beta program before other midrange devices is surprising. Samsung often gives priority to its flagship models, but don’t worry—the Galaxy S22 and S21 are anticipated to do the same soon.
Samsung has already started preparing for One UI 6.0 by updating its apps with the necessary support. Android 14 entered its stable phase in June. The One UI 6.0 beta program was supposed to debut in the third week of July, however that didn’t happen. Users won’t have to wait too long, though, as it seems to be a minor delay.
When compared to other rollout experiences, Samsung has been able to keep this release moving along very quickly. The company expressed its commitment to make further versions even quicker than the One UI 5’s successful launch back in December.
Samsung fans have exciting times ahead of them as they eagerly anticipate the launch of the One UI 6.0 beta program, which will bring the newest Android 14 features to their smart phones.
