Apple is said to have ordered four different sizes of OLED screens, which would most likely be used in the forthcoming iPad Pro and MacBook Pro.
By 2024, an OLED-screen version of the iPad Pro is anticipated to be available, as per AppleInsider.
The OLED-screen MacBook Pro, on the other hand, is most likely to debut in 2025.
It is likely that the project will involve two companies, including Samsung and LG Display.
The iPhone maker has purchased displays in the following sizes: 10.86 inches for the iPad Pro, 12.9 inches for the iPad Pro, 14 inches for the MacBook Pro, and 16 inches for the MacBook Pro.
“There are various panel development from 10 inches to 16 inches in progress,” an unnamed source mentioned.
Furthermore, the tech giant has ordered a 20.25-inch OLED panel that it touts as ‘foldable,’ per the report.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said last week that a MacBook with an OLED display would be available before the end of 2024.
