AMD revealed a slew of new desktop and mobile computing products, offering improved performance to gamers, creators, professionals, and the general public, at CES 2023

AMD’s Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop processor series continues to grow with the release of the Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700, and Ryzen 5 7600 Series.

Socket AM5 customers now have more alternatives thanks to AMD’s new Ryzen CPUs, which feature the company’s “Zen 4” architecture and a 65W TDP, making them energy-efficient and powerful. They also come with AMD’s Wraith cooler.

“AMD is consistently pushing the envelope on innovation in the PC industry, bringing unmatched performance and efficiency to PC desktop and laptops users,” Saeid Moshkelani, senior vice president and general manager, Client, AMD, said in a statement.

The company also introduced its new Ryzen 7000 Series Mobile CPUs, such as the AMD Ryzen 7045HX Series Mobile processors, which boast an average performance boost of over 50 percent across a wide variety of applications, paving the way for mobile gaming and content creation.

In addition, AMD has released its Ryzen 7040 Series Mobile processors, which include the company’s first AI hardware designed specifically for an x86 microprocessor.

Moshkelani elaborated, “With the new Ryzen AI technology built into our Ryzen 7040 Series Mobile processors, we will bring not only leadership performance and power efficiency but also the power of artificial intelligence to laptop devices, ushering in a future with powerful new capabilities that only true AI hardware can provide and opening the door to a new world of experiences.”
