The much-awaited release date for Vivo’s flagship smartphone range, the X100s series, has finally been disclosed. The X100s, X100s Pro, and the top-tier X100 Ultra will be formally unveiled by the Chinese tech titan on May 13th in its home market.
The company has confirmed the rumors and leaks that have been going around for months regarding the camera-focused flagships that have been developed in collaboration with the renowned German optics maker Carl Zeiss.
While Vivo has not disclosed pricing details yet, the smartphones are now listed on its Chinese website, revealing the available memory and storage configurations:
Vivo X100s options include: 12GB + 256GB; 16GB + 256GB; 16GB + 512GB; 16GB + 1TB.
Options for the Vivo X100s Pro include 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB storage.
Vivo X100 Ultra options are 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
The X100s Pro and X100 Ultra will be available in three color options – Black, Titanium, and White, while the standard X100s adds a Blue variant to the mix.
Design-wise, all three models appear to have a similar look, however there are significant variances below. The X100s and X100s Pro are rumored to be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9200+ chipset, while the top-end X100 Ultra will most likely utilize Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU.
The biggest attraction of Vivo’s new flagships will definitely be their camera systems, which have been co-engineered with Zeiss optics. The company anticipates revealing further information about the camera’s capabilities in the run-up to the May 13th launch event.
