Meta has introduced a new “creative expression” features for Facebook creators, including the ability to make Reels of up to 90 seconds in length, which were previously limited to only 60 seconds.
The news was made on Facebook by the company’s “Meta for Creators” account on Friday. Creators can now quickly create “Ready-made” Reels from their “Memories,” same like on Instagram.
In addition, the company released a new “Grooves” feature that automatically aligns and syncs the action in the user’s video to the beat of the song.
Users can simply create Reels using trendy templates on the new “Templates” feature.
Meta stated last month that it will be improving Facebook’s “Why am I seeing this ad?” feature to provide more transparency about how it employs machine learning models to serve adverts to users.
The tool will explain “how your activity both on and off our technologies may inform the machine learning models we use to shape and deliver the ads you see,” the company said.
