Tipster says Xiaomi, Meizu, OPPO, and iQOO will launch Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 phones

Leading Chinese smartphone brands are getting ready to introduce new flagship using the long-awaited Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip. As an overclocked variation, this updated version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip offers improved performance. However, due to the cost of the processor, these mobile devices may be more expensive.

According to a well-known tipster, MMOi companies are now testing the SD8+G2 chip. It refers to four companies: Xiaomi, Meizu, OPPO, and iQOO.

The iQOO 11s, which is slated to be released in the third quarter of 2023, is rumored to be the first phone to use the SD8+G2 chip. The speculated Redmi K60 Ultra could be the Xiaomi phone to use the new technology.

Leaked information suggests that the Realme GT Neo 6 might be one of the OPPO smartphones to use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 even if it is still unknown which model would do so. Additionally, it has been rumoured that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro’s forthcoming release may use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.
