Poco is stepping up its game this year by introducing an Ultra model to its F series for the first time. The upcoming Poco F7 Ultra was recently spotted in a benchmark test, confirming it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The phone has already received certification in Indonesia and Thailand, signaling that its official launch is right around the corner. While these certifications don’t reveal much about the specs, they suggest that Poco is gearing up for a big announcement.
Looking at last year’s timeline, the Poco F6 series debuted in May, so we might still be a few weeks away from seeing the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra in action.
Rumors suggest that the F7 Ultra could be a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro, which means we can expect some high-end specs. If true, the device will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1440×3200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-bright 3,200-nit peak brightness.
Under the hood, it could pack 12GB or 16GB of RAM with storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. The camera setup is also impressive, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x zoom, a 32MP ultrawide camera, and a 20MP selfie shooter.
Battery life won’t be an issue either, as the F7 Ultra is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery, supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the software side, it should ship with Android 15 running HyperOS 2.
