Netflix has introduced a new mobile game to its lineup called ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,’ which is a modern twist on the iconic TMNT arcade games.
Shredder’s Revenge was first launched for PC and consoles last year, but players can now play it on iOS or Android with a Netflix subscription, according to The Verge.
The new game features pixel imagery and side-scrolling levels, and it can be played by up to six people at the same time.
Furthermore, the game is designed to be welcoming for players who may not have grown up with the original TMNT arcade games, making it easy for them to participate, per the report.
Last month, the streaming giant had claimed that the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge’ game would be available this year and “players will be able to kick shell with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo or other old buddies in this completely tubular ’80s-inspired beat them up”.
According to the company, players will enjoy old-school gameplay upgraded with new battle mechanisms, as well as experiences with a new story mode.
