Itel has officially launched the Power 70, an affordable smartphone that stands out with a massive 10,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and a budget-friendly price tag.
The device comes with a 6,000mAh battery built-in, but what sets it apart is the additional 4,000mAh charging case, included as a launch gift. This case connects via the USB-C port and leverages the phone’s 18W wired charging capabilities. However, there is no support for wireless charging.
Display and Performance
The Power 70 features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 700 nits peak brightness. Itel calls it a “Sunlight Display,” claiming it remains visible even in bright outdoor conditions. The display also supports wet and oily touch controls, making it more versatile in different environments.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB variants, with eMMC 5.1 storage that is expandable via microSD.
Camera and Features
The Itel Power 70 sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, capable of recording 1080p videos. It also includes two Nano-SIM slots, a single loudspeaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. However, NFC support is missing.
Pricing and Availability
The Itel Power 70, including the charging case, is priced at approximately $85. The availability of the case as a permanent bundle remains unclear. The phone is offered in Black, Silver, Marine, and Gold color options, making it a stylish and practical budget choice.
