Instagram Adds New Feature AI Stickers, Filters, and Clip Hub More!

Instagram introduced a series of updates today that give users additional tools to edit their photos before sharing it with the public.

The addition of over 20 new filters is an interesting feature of this update, marking the first significant overhaul in the filter selection in several years. These filters offer users a diverse range of options, from subtle color adjustments to transformative effects like blur, all equipped with an intensity slider for personalized adjustments.

Streamlining the posting process, Instagram has revamped the interface for a more user-friendly experience. Improved previews, along with enhanced zoom and keyword search functionalities, make it easier for users to locate specific images within their camera roll.

Leveraging its advanced artificial intelligence technology, its now allows users to create custom stickers using their own photos and videos, or from eligible content shared on the platform. While these features are currently in the testing phase, they hold the promise of adding a new layer of personalization to Instagram stories.

For Instagram’s short-form video feature, Reels, the update introduces options for scaling, cropping, and rotating individual clips. Additionally, users can now seamlessly add content from the clip hub, enhancing the creation of shareable and meme-worthy content. The Reels interface itself undergoes improvements to facilitate easier access to tools such as Voiceover, and the inclusion of undo and redo functionalities.

Instagram is testing out some new options for rotating, cropping, and resizing individual clips for Reels. In order to produce more interesting and engaging content, users may explore other tools available in the clip hub. Updates to the Reels interface are being made to offer the ability to undo and redo instructions, as well as simplify access to features like Voiceover.

Regarding accessibility, Instagram has added ten additional English text-to-speech voices, giving users a variety of options for having text content read aloud. Six other text fonts and styles are also included, giving users even more creative options.
