A recent concept video by YouTube design channel 4RMD offers a glimpse into a potential design for Google’s anticipated Pixel 10 Pro, expected to launch in 2025.
Departing from the traditional horizontal camera bar seen in recent Pixel models, the concept introduces a vertical camera module positioned centrally on the back of the device. This module houses three 64 MP lenses: a main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto lens capable of up to 50x zoom.
The front of the device features a 6.9-inch display with minimal bezels and a smaller punch-hole camera, enhancing the screen-to-body ratio. The design also showcases rounded corners and a flat frame, contributing to a sleek and modern aesthetic.
The concept suggests the inclusion of Google’s Tensor G5 chipset, aiming to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency. Additionally, it proposes a 5,300 mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities, ensuring extended usage and quick recharge times.
The envisioned Pixel 10 Pro is presented in four distinct color options: Porcelain (white), Obsidian (black), Rose Quartz (pink), and Bay Blue, allowing users to select a device that aligns with their personal style.
While the concept offers an imaginative take on the Pixel 10 Pro’s design, it’s important to note that such radical changes may pose practical challenges.
For instance, a vertical camera bar could affect the device’s ergonomics and compatibility with wireless charging. As of now, official details about the Pixel 10 series remain undisclosed, and it’s uncertain whether Google will adopt any of these proposed design elements.
