Both the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 come pre-installed with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1, with plans for updates to Android 15 and One UI 7.0 expected next year. Samsung has committed to providing these devices with a total of seven major Android OS upgrades, reinforcing its dedication to long-term support—a significant advantage for users compared to other major OEMs.

Samsung’s proactive approach to security is commendable, as keeping devices updated with the latest security patches is essential for protecting against potential threats.
