Three weeks ago, Yaccarino spoke with Musk at an advertising event, and this week, NBCUniversal announced a new content deal with Twitter under which the social media platform will broadcast 2024 Paris Olympics content, including a exclusive live show.
Yaccarino has overseen NBCU’s advertising department for the previous decade, and prior to that spent nearly 20 years as an ad executive with the former Turner cable channels.
She was appointed group chair of management firm YMU in February. The YMU talent list includes The Rolling Stones, Emily Ratajkowski, Steve Aoki, and top British TV talent like Ant & Dec and Amanda Holden.
