ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) introduced an impressive lineup of WiFi 7 networking products at CES 2025. The new devices aim to enhance gaming, travel, and home connectivity.
The star of the lineup, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI, is the first gaming router with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This AI-powered router optimizes gaming performance, reduces energy use by 46%, and enhances privacy.
Key features include ROG AI Game Booster and Adaptive QoS 2.0, which cut gaming latency by 34%. With support for up to 3,000 games, the router also includes tools like Ad Blocker and RF Scanner.
The ASUS RT-BE58 Go is a compact travel router designed for connectivity on the go. It supports 4G/5G tethering, public WiFi hotspot creation, and standard router functions, delivering speeds up to 3600 Mbps.
For security, the RT-BE58 Go includes AiProtection by Trend Micro™ and VPN support for up to 30 providers. It’s also compatible with AiMesh for seamless home network expansion.
The ASUS 5G-Go router offers global 5G connectivity in 232 countries with speeds up to 5.95 Gbps. It features WiFi 7, a 6030mAh battery, and rugged IP51-rated construction for durability.
Its Fixed Wireless Access mode and quick VPN setup make it ideal for travelers and remote workers. The device supports all-day use and ensures reliable connectivity wherever you go.
ASUS also introduced the ZenWiFi Outdoor series for extending WiFi 7 coverage to outdoor spaces. These durable routers are IP-rated to withstand harsh weather conditions.
The ZenWiFi BD5 Outdoor delivers speeds up to 5000 Mbps, while the ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor offers 3600 Mbps, catering to both large and small outdoor areas.
Pricing and availability for these products are yet to be announced, but they’re already setting a high bar for WiFi 7 innovation.
