Apple released the iOS 16.5 software update to all users, which includes a new’sports tab’ in the News app. The new iOS 16.5 is available for iPhone 8 and later
The new tab serves as a hub for users’ favorite sports teams’ scores, match schedules, and articles.
“Sports tab in Apple News gives easy access to stories, scores, standings, and more, for the teams and leagues you follow,” Apple said.
Users can also get more information about a single game by tapping on the My Sports score and schedule cards, which will take them to the game’s page.
Along with iOS 16.5, Apple also updated other devices running iPadOS 16.5, macOS Ventura 16.4, and watchOS 9.5 with minor upgrades.
Furthermore, the new iOS 16.5 update includes a new pride celebration wallpaper for the Lock Screen, bug improvements for Podcasts in CarPlay, sluggish Spotlight, and screen time syncing.
Also available on Apple TV 4K is the multiview functionality, which enables sports fans to watch up to four streams at once, including Major League Soccer games, ‘Friday Night Baseball’ games, and specific MLS and MLB live shows.
Users can see the available live games at the bottom of their screen, choose which ones to watch, and change between numerous layout options with this entirely adjustable new multiview experience in the Apple TV app on Apple TV 4K, according to the company.
