Apple has expanded the capacity of its Find My tracking app to include up to 32 devices, accessories, and items according to updated Apple support documents.
Previously capped at 16 connected items per user account, the increased limit provides expanded flexibility for tracking valuables via AirTags, compatible accessories and Apple products registered to Find My.
Specific items tracked through the app now include:
- AirPods Max: Count as 1 item
- 1st Gen AirPods/AirPods Pro: Count as 2 items
- 2nd Gen AirPods Pro: Count as 3 items
- AirTags
- Select Beats headphones
- MagSafe wallets
- Eligible third-party items
The boosted item allotment has already rolled out across iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and MacOS Ventura. Users can monitor locations for all 32 connected tags, earbuds and devices through Find My’s integrated map on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Apple continues expanding Find My integrations to help customers track everyday essentials like keys, bags and more. Now with space for up to 32 items, Apple users have even greater flexibility securing belongings without burdening themselves recalling clever hiding spots.
So next time you misplace an Apple or compatible third-party product, opening Find My may spotlight far more lost lambs than ever before. Just try not attributing forgetfulness to anything beyond a few extra items secured on Apple’s tracking network.
