AMD launch Radeon PRO W7800/7900 graphics cards with up to 48GB of memory

The Radeon PRO W7800/7900 workstation graphics cards are available now, AMD announced on Twitter today. The Radeon PRO W7900 costs $3,999 USD. While suggested retail price for a second Radeon PRO W7800 is $2,499.

The AMD Radeon PRO W7000 series graphics card, according to reports, uses the world’s first workstation GPU architecture based on AMD’s innovative chiplet (Chiplet) design, which may give full multitasking performance and remarkable energy efficiency.

The new graphics cards also include the AMD Radiance Display Engine with DisplayPort 2.1 compatibility, giving a greater visual experience, higher resolutions, and more accessible colors than ever before.

With 61 TFLOPS (FP32) peak single-precision performance and 1.5X better geometry performance in the SPECviewperf 2020 benchmark, the AMD Radeon PRP W7900 graphics card is ideal for demanding applications.

It also has 48GB of GDDR6 memory, which is 1.5 times the memory capacity of the previous generation card, which was 32GB. With 45 TFLOPS (FP32) peak single-precision performance and 32GB of GDDR6 memory, the AMD Radeon PRO W7800 graphics card is geared for intensive tasks.
